Hamish & Andy sign on with Network Ten

March 7th, 2010 · Comments Off

Hamish & Andy are set to appear more often on Ten after signing a new Television deal to produce various specials to fill the gap left by Rove.

HAMISH Blake and Andy Lee look set to become TV stars after signing a lucrative deal with Channel 10.

The hottest duo on radio signed during the week to produce a number of specials for Ten.

One insider said the Fox FM pair would fill the gap left by Rove McManus when he quit his decade-long show last year.

At this stage the deal is for Blake and Lee to produce specials for the network, but a weekly show is not out of the question.

Ten programming chief David Mott said the signing was a coup.

“It’s no secret Hamish and Andy are the most keenly sought after television talent around,” he said.

“It’s great news for us and we can’t wait to see what they have planned.”

The deal will make the pair one of Australia’s best paid acts.

February 18th, 2010 · 1 Comment

RoveOnline scoops the news that Rove will again appear on the Los Angeles based E! Channel talk show ‘Chelsea Lately’ hosted by popular comedienne Chelsea Handler on February 22nd. It should air later that same week on E! in Australia.

According to an unconfirmed television listing, Rove will be making a second guest appearance on U.S comedy talk show Chelsea Lately. The episode is scheduled to be shown this Monday (22nd of February) @ 11pm U.S time.

Guest line-up will also include: Keshia Knight Pulliam, Loni Love & Michelle Collins (subject to change).

Should this information be accurate expect the episode to be shown on Foxtel’s E! Entertainment (Channel 21) soon after.

Rove last appeared on the show in 2009 as part of the shows week in Sydney. Judging by this line-up, Rove will be on the comedian panel which takes up the first two segments, discussing the latest Hollywood gossip. Keshia Knight Pulliam from ‘Tyler Perry’s House of Payne’ is the featured guest of the night.

More details should soon appear on Chelsea Lately’s official site.
