Following up on the recent spikes in viewership comes news today that Network Ten will renew 7pm Project for a second season, through mid-way 2011.
Ten declined to officially confirm the news, but the newspaper [The Daily Telegraph] was told the decision was final and that production company Roving Enterprises would be advised.

NETWORK Ten is planning to “rest” its flagging show Rove before a major overhaul that may turn it into a Hey Hey It’s Saturday-style variety program.

7pm Project renewed for next 12 months?

Good news for 7pm fans, MediaWeek magazine today reports that ‘The 7pm Project’ produced by Roving Enterprises has been renewed for the next 12 months.
David Mott, Network Ten’s Chief Programmer has also indicated this week it would run over summer and continue from February onwards.
