Reports that Rove won’t be back until mid-2010

October 19th, 2009 · 3 Comments

Peter Ford on Radio 2UE in Sydney has reported that Rove (the show) will not return to air until at least halfway through 2010 and that production staff are looking for new jobs. He also reports that Rove ‘will concentrate on The 7pm Project’.

Rove’s last episode for 2009 airs November 15th.

All this leads you to ask if he will be hosting or joining the panel on 7pm in the new year? Of course this is only reporting from Peter Ford… We’ll see.

Hopefully the speculations are false, mid way through the year sounds like a long stretch of time for a show like Rove to be off the air.

Although he has been off until April/May before. That’s close to 1/2 way.

The only date that comes to mind would be April 1st, 2007.

But looks like the report is accurate since The Herald Sun have pretty much confirmed it.

Let me get this right, they did 31 episodes last year, and with the early return this year it’ll be a total of 36 shows.

Next year it’ll be… far less. Bugger.
