TV presenters James Mathison and Carrie Bickmore are tipped to become part of Network Ten’s new 7pm show already in pre-production.
The pair was spotted auditioning for the show at the Ten studio. They would be an obvious choice.
Mathison is a talented live performer who is still free since leaving Australian Idol, while Bickmore has been a vital part of Rove for the past few years.
There are rumours that the show, which is produced by Roving Enterprises, will have a different host every night, with a number of names, including presenter James Kerley, being considered for the slots.
It has been reported that the show is based on the BBC’s The One Show, which is described as a topical magazine and entertainment show.
