Mick Molloy will be joining regulars Dave Hughes, Sam Lane, Lehmo and Andrew Maher, filling the absent chair left by popular host Peter Helliar. Helliar announced his departure at the end of the season last year, saying he wanted to spend Saturdays with his two sons. He’ll also have his hands full professionally, with his Triple MMM radio show, which he co-hosts with Myf Warhurst, and his side-kick duties on Rove’s Sunday night chat show. Mick Molloy doesn’t come completely fresh to the sports presenting game, having previously hosted Any Given Sunday alongside former Olympic swimmer Nicole Livingstone. He was also in the seat for the ill-fated The Nation last year. News.com.au
