The Courier Mail reports about Rove’s return to stand-up touring.
TV personality Rove McManus is retracing his comedic steps and hitting the road with his first solo stand-up show in more than two years Rove, who recently signed a new contract with Channel 10, last toured in 2005 when his shows sold out across Australia, and although the 2008 circuit is yet to be finalised, he’s at least locked in a couple of dates.
He’ll appear at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in February and then bob up again at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in April. His tour will be spaced out and slotted in and around his commitments associated with Rove, which dictate his Brisbane dates, which are expected to be announced soon. “Stand-up is something that you never get out of your system, no matter what happens with my career being a live comic will always be a huge part of it,” Rove said.
