News.com.au confirms Rove will be back for at least two more years with Network Ten.

ROVE McManus will return to Australian TV next year, committing to a new two-year deal with Channel 10. The superstar re-signing was the talk of the network’s 2008 program launch last night, at the Hordern Pavillion, Moore Park. McManus was unsure if he wanted to continue beyond this year but will stay at Ten along with Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who will be hosting the local version of So You Think You Can Dance.

“Rove had gone through a lot when we met to discuss whether he wanted to do this year or not,” chief programmer David Mott told TV editor Marcus Casey. “He didn’t know if wanted to continue trying to make people laugh in the long term, but now he’s in a great place and moving on with his life so was very happy to talk about a longer deal.”
